Red Light Therapy (RLT), also known as photobiomodulation, is an exciting newer modality that heals the mitochondria of the cells to give them more energy and to act like younger cells. It promotes healing for all sorts of issues as it has been shown to reduce inflammation and pain (including arthritis), encourage faster wound-healing and muscle recovery, improve sleep and skin elasticity (read: younger-looking skin!). It has also been shown effective for hair regrowth, and early studies are showing exciting results for slowing down the progression of Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, as well as improving cognition and mental health. Bottom line: without harmful side effects, this therapy has been shown to help in so many ways, that surely anyone could benefit!
Our Red Light Therapy includes Red Light and Near Infrared (NIR) is provided by a 6 foot flexible mat on a contoured massage table beneath the body and a 6 foot panel above that lowers toward the body, allowing for a comfortable and customized experience. The ends are open and the room is visible all around the sides, which not only removes the claustrophobic feel that a pod might have, but allows for good air flow and a relaxing experience. Check out our ever-growing binder of studies and research in the lobby to see what RLT can do for you!

She feels privileged to meet people where they are in their journey and honored to be trusted to assist patients into better health or more comfort. She founded The Well Being as a place to invite people to come to do this important work.
Monica believes every person can live a healthy and vibrant life in their body and is passionate about providing her patients with both the well-being and confidence to pursue more joyful lives, so they can be the best and truest versions of themselves possible. She understands that when people feel healthy and comfortable, they live more courageously. She knows that health and vitality are derived from a body that functions effectively, efficiently, and comfortably; a body that is in synergy with the spirit; a body that is thriving and grounded.
